The late Reverend Joseph Samuels was an inspiration to all and a dedicated servant of God, of whom he received his calling as a youth. He was a strong leader who led his ministries with undeniable faith and wisdom worldwide. He will also be remembered as a loving and devoted husband to his lovely wife Ina of 44 years. He was a wonderful loving father to his son Dwain and his late son Michael. An enthusiastic and caring grandfather to Nathaniel, Jared (sons of Michael and Anna), Tristan, Kaila and Sophia (children of Dwain and Marilen). A loving brother to Gladstone, Daphne and Margaret. He will be greatly missed by relatives, friends, his congregation and fellow ministers. He led his life with so much love, faith, strength and unselfishness. He will be the constant light in our hearts which will never fade.

Ebenezer Revival Tabernacle Ministries started October 4th, 1987. All Sunday Services and Wednesday night Bible Studies were held in the basement of Pastor & Mrs. Samuels' home during the month of October. They quickly outgrew the basement space and moved into an office complex on November 1st, 1987. The Lord blessed the Ministry in a tremendous way, and after a year they outgrew the space and moved to Aldergrove Public School where they spent approximately five years. On June 20th, 1993, they moved to 3025 Kennedy Road where they worshipped for just over six years. God then blessed us by allowing us to purchase a building which we renovated. On July 19th, 1999, we moved to our own Church Building which is located at 1228 Birchmount Road. Over the past years, we have seen many souls accept Jesus as their personal saviour, many lives transformed, wounded spirits healed by the power of God and many broken relationships mended. God has been good to Ebenezer Revival Tabernacle. |

We affirm our belief in the Evangelical Christian faith as set forth herewith:
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the father and His personal return in power and glory. (1 Tim. 3:16; Acts 1:11; Romans 8:34)
- We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that in Jesus Christ “dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily”. (Col. 2:9; Duet. 6:4; John 10:30; John 14:26; John 15:26; Matt. 28:19)
- We believe the Bible in its entirety is the inspired Word of God and the only infallible and authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:16)
- We believe in Christ great commission to the Church to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. (Matt. 28:19)
- We believe in complete salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and obedience to the Gospel by repentance of sin and baptism by immersion in water. (Eph. 2:8; Acts 2:38; Acts 8:35-39)
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (2 Cor. 7:1; Heb. 12:10-14; 1 Thess. 4:7; Romans 8:1-2)
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and in the manifestation of the Holy Spirit operative in the Church of Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38-39; Acts 19:6; 1 Cor. 12:4-11)
- We believe in the observance of the Lord’s supper as a memorial of His broken body and the New Testament of His blood. (1 Cor. 11:24-25)
- We believe in the fruit of the spirit and all of the above must be accompanied by the Spiritual fruit of love. (Gal. 5:22-23)
- We believe in the five fold ministries God gave to His body: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and teachers, “for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ”. (Eph. 4:11-12)
- We believe that at the return of Jesus “the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thess. 4:16-17)
- We believe in the final eternal judgment at which time the condemned will be cast into the lake of fire. (Rev. 20:11-15)
- We believe that marriage constitutes a lifetime commitment between one man and one woman and that it is the only legitimate, honourable and holy estates instituted by God. It is ordained of God as the foundation and bond of family life for the mutual help and comfort of husband and wife, and for the welfare of the state. (Gen. 2:24-25; Prov. 18:22; 1 Cor. 7:10-11; 1 Cor. 6:9-10; Heb 13:4)
